Sunday Sept 28 – Rally, march & festival
Rally: Climate emergency – Renewables NOW!
When: 2pm
Where: Parliament House (George St, City)
Speakers: Wanita Limpus (Kiribati Australia Association); Steve Posselt (Save the Mary River kayak campaigner); Dr John Mackenzie (Friends of the Earth)
Afterwards, join the endangered lungfish, Mary River turtle, polar bears and more on a tour of ‘climate criminals’ including BHP, Xstrata & Waratah Coal, and march to:
Climate Festival @ Centenary Place (Valley)
Music including Grassroots Street Orchestra, stalls, workshops, food, films from 4pm till late
